It was such a joy to join in with the children’s entertainment this morning. A team from Hawaii had come over to minister in song and music. They are travelling for 2wks going into China and ministering to different groups. Just watching the children’s faces broaden with their smile was a real delight and I felt so priviledged to be part of this. It was such a lot of fun.

HOLF has been my sanctuary as I recover from an acute eye problem, which caused much pain and I could not keep my eyes opened. This of course has made it hard to sightsee. However I am definitely on the mend and yesterday we had a great day out. We discovered the most wonderful Italian restaurant for lunch {yes I know what you’re thinking} but all 4 of us were hankering for pasta. Afterwards Linda and I visited the ISS {International Social Services} to see if we could dig out anymore records when we first entered the world. This will take a little while to check though so it will be emailed back to us. Then Bron and I went to see an eye specialist who gave me some drops which is now improving rapidly.

I have so thoroughly enjoyed having Bron join me in this pilgrimage as she’s very much part of my life. Not only has she has also been my backbone and support, it has been great to talk over events and and put things into perspective with this whole process.

Tomorrow we have hired a car and guide to drive us round the coast and sights for 5hrs. We’ll also stop off at Stanley Markets and do a bit of shopping. Yay!
